Graves Park

• 2012 - Event was cancelled due to the proceding wet weather making the ground unsuitable. • 2013 - "Highland Fling Event" - 787 passengers were carried. A good day with reasonable weather. • 2014 - "Highland Fling Event" - 383 passengers were carried. Unfortunately a problem occured with the motion that couldn't be repaired on site, which meant we had to cease running at 2pm, 3.5 hours before the official finishing time. There would have been the potential to double the number of passengers carried. Weston Park • 2012 - "Victorian Fun Day" A successful day when 703 passengers were carried a marked improvement on the previous year. • 2013 - "Victorian Fun Day" - 805 passengers carried. An excellent day with very good weather. This represents the second highest number of passengers carried at Weston Park, the highest being 925 in 2009. • 2014 - "Victorian Fun Day" - 529 passengers were carried. This was somewhat disappointing considering the excellent weather. Sheffield Xmas Lights Switch On. • 2012 - "Sheffield Christmas Lights Switch On" - The Societies Wren was run on our portable track in Millenium Square, Sheffield, on the 18th November 2012, during the switch on of the Xmas Lights. A total of 1024 passengers were carried which is a record for one day. This event compensated for the loss of the Botanical Gardens Event not run this year by Sheffield CC. Thanks to everyone that helped to make the event a great success. • 2013 - "Sheffield Christmas Lights Switch On" - 854 passengers carried . It was agreed that we would contribute to the cost of safety fencing. • 2014 - Due to cost restraints and loss of the site where in the past we had run we were not invited to any event run by Sheffield CC in the Christmas period.
